Today we are celebrating after being named as the Best/Most Innovative Use of Technology (Club Specific) at the Football Business Awards 2014.
In a glittering ceremony at Chelsea Football Club’s Stamford Bridge on Thursday 6th November, Firstkind were announced as winners of this year’s Best/Most Innovative Use of Technology (Club Specific) Award for “bringing to market the innovative OnPulse™ NMES Technology powering the firefly™ and geko™ devices used by football players to revolutionise recovery.”
Up against tough competition in our category, including Arsenal Media Group, Aston Villa FC, Coach Logic, PureNet and Queen Park Rangers FC, we were delighted to come out on top. Bernard Ross, CEO of Firstkind, commented “we are honoured to be recognised by the prestigious football business awards as one of the best & innovative technologies used in the football industry. A number of football clubs, in particular West Ham, have been early adopters of the OnPulse™ technology and are using the firefly™and geko™ devices as part of their recovery strategies.” He added: “We would like to thank the judges, who include some of the most influential people in the football world, for this accolade which we hope will give us the platform to introduce the technology to many more football clubs”.
